Thursday 5th April 2012.......
Having reached the Nullarbor Roadhouse we stopped to play our third hole of golf on The Nullarbor Links Golf Course. This place is isolated and the only show in town with a Petrol Station, Hotel/Motel/Caravan Park, and a golf hole. Even though the temperature was hitting 40 degrees, we played our hole of golf, had our card stamped, had a really refreshing roadhouse hot (almost cold by choice) 5 minute shower for $1.00 each, had lunch, refuelled with the most expensive diesel we have ever paid for at $2.03/litre....however when you are the only station around for many hundreds of kilometres, you just have to pay the price! Took a few happy snaps then ventured on to find our camp spot for the next few days.
