An old battery - Battery Hill Ternnant Creek NT
Wednesday 1st June 2011: Travelled 70klms to the Three Ways and reached the Stuart H'way. Turned south and went south to Tennant Creek, where we visited Battery Hill where stands an old gold mine and today is the tourist info. In town Chris found himself a stainless steel collander, which he has been searching for since we left Clem Walton Park, to make a camp fire in of a night. This is the same as John and Glenda used for their camp fire and it such a great idea. We travelled back north out of Tennant Creek about 4 klms to Lake Mary Ann (Tingkarle). A beautiful oasis. Then further north approx 16klms to The Pebbles where camped for the night.
