Edith Falls and Pine Creek

Wednesday 6th July 2011: Left Katherine and travelled north to Edith Falls in the Nitmiluk Nat.Park, then onto Pine Creek where we visited the Historic Railway Museum then camped 3klms south of Pine Creek off the Old Stuart H'way overlooking a large billabong and with sundowners enjoyed the cool evening breeze (temp tday has been a pleasant 30 degrees) and the sun set over the water.
Making the most of telstra communications (not possible in a lot of areas) chatted to my friend Anne who had just returned after a month from the UK visiting her mum, family and friends. Also chatted to my twin Majella, and friend Kathy Bowe. Returned an email to my friend Alison, while Chris watched the decider of the State of Origin (which Qld won)!!
