Monday 16/05/2011:
Departed Goondiwindi around 10.45am travelling through farming land of cotton and sorghum dodging B-triples and large oversize cotton headers to arrive around 1.30pm at the Nindigully Pub camp site about 44klm south of St George. Set ourselves up and ventured across to the pub for an ale then relaxed by the Moonie river bank. So peaceful, serene and heaven like. Oh what a life! Today is my cousin Mervyn's 60th birthday so rang him in Cairns to wish him well.
Tuesday 17/05/2011:
Stayed another day here at Nindigully - bushwalking, bird spotting, photo shooting and enjoying the never ending changes surrounding us. Our computers and Iphone batteries need charging so we have started up the generator to supply us the power needed, so decided to write more of my blog and add a few photos.
